Irene Lladó
is a graphic designer and visual communicator based in Barcelona. Interested mainly in typography, editorial design, research and printed matters although she enjoys anything that relates to graphic design. Irene (or airin) is always eager to discover and learn new things and willing to earn as much experience as possible. Her cv, just as her portfolio, are always under construction, as she also works freelance in the meantime.

While working in BAU, College of Arts and Design of Barcelona, communications department I was asked to design a whole identity for an incoming exhibition. It was in memory of the graphic designer Teresa Martínez, for many, Tere, who wanted to publicize and value her work as a graphic designer, teacher and design researcher.

'Tere' was part of the select group of pioneers who helped turn Barcelona into the capital of design. Her extensive portfolio reflects the life and spirit of this city, where she grew up, lived, and trained as a graphic designer.
